Sleep streaming? Filipino gamer earns P15k a month by doing the stint
ETS GAMING – The Pinoy gamer whose real name is Euan Garcera is earning as much as P15000 per month while streaming himself sleeping.
Sleep streaming is not a new concept on the internet. It became popular in the year 2020 after some Twitch users began doing it amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among those doing this content is a Filipino gamer named Euan Garcera who’s popularly known as ETS Gaming.
In an interview via Esquire Magazine, he shared that before ventured into sleep streaming, he has been doing Livestream of his games on Facebook and is earning only $60 or at least P3000 a month.
That’s why he decided to make different content.
After streaming himself while sleeping, he did not only generated more followers, his earning also increased.
“When I started sleeping, I began to earn $120 to $300 per month,” he said.
It was in 2020 when Garcera started live streaming using a cellphone and television since he don’t have money at the time to buy a laptop or a computer.
His uncle based in the US noticed what he’s doing until he sent him money to buy a computer, which he can also use in his studies.
He even cried when he received the money to buy a computer.
Meanwhile, a lot of content creators have been switching to Twitch to stream their content.
In 2019, Twitch logged over 9 billion watch hours.
Among the top five most-watched games for 2019 on Twitch were League of Legends, Fortnite, Just Chatting, Grand Theft Auto V, and DotA 2.
