MANNY PACQUIAO – The presidential aspirant and incumbent Senator threw a challenge to his fellow government officials to disclose their wealth.

One of the political issues that sparked different reactions from the people is the disclosure of the full wealth of those who are in the government. Some officials are disclosing their assets, liabilities, and net worth while there are those who keep it from the public’s eye.

Recently, the presidential candidates in the Election 2022 were asked fo their stand regarding the issue. One of those who have no problem with disclosing his wealth to the public is Sen. Manny Pacquiao.

The Senator is running for president under the national party PROMDI. Amid the previous issues involving PDP-Laban where he’s also a member, he expressed that he is determined to take the presidential race even if it means running as an independent candidate.

With regards to the issue of government officials disclosing their wealth to the public, Sen. Manny Pacquiao is proud to show his Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) to the public. He stressed that he worked hard for what he has now.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Sen. Manny Pacquiao even threw a challenge to his fellow government officials to disclose their wealth to the public. If elected president, he promised to fight graft and corruption in the government.

The Senator has over P3 billion net worth. He is one of the richest government officials in the country. He stressed that he invested blood, sweat, and risked his life on whatever he has now. He also shared some of his wealth to the Filipino people.

It is no secret to the public that most of the riches of Sen. Pacquiao are from boxing. He and his family really rose from poverty because of his success in sports.
