Motorcycle stolen by owner’s friend, suspect arrested
A man was arrested by authorities after stealing the motorcycle owned by his friend in Quezon City.
A motorcycle has been part of our daily commute.
One may go to work, buy groceries, travel to many places using this vehicle- fast and easy.
That’s why a certain Jerwin Gamboa was saddened after learning that his motorcycle was stolen, by no less than his close friend.
Fortunately, the suspect who stole his vehicle was apprehended in Barangay Old Balara in QC.
According to the victim, he even helped the poor suspect last year who had tuberculosis.
The victim narrated that it was around October or September when they connected with each other on social media.
He said that ever since he’s helping his friend with his studies. In fact, he’s the one paying for his internet allowance in school.
The victim felt sorry for the suspect after he found out that the latter deceived many people already before he stole Gamboa’s motorcycle.
The local police said that the suspect admitted to the crime of stealing his friend’s motorcycle. He has already asked for an apology with hopes that the case to be filed against him won’t push through.
But the victim has decided that he will file qualified theft against the suspect.
This incident goes to show that not everyone is your true friend.
Whether you’ve been good to someone, there’s no assurance that the other would reciprocate the goodness you’ve shown.
Hence, it is important to know the person first before putting your trust to him or her.
