OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau has announced that Li Jie was appointed as the President of OnePlus China in order to lead the business operations in the Chinese market.
It was last year when OnePlus was merged with OPPO and Lau rejoined OPPO as a Chief Product Officer along with continuing with his existing role of being the CEO at OnePlus.
Recently, Lau has announced that Li Jie will be the President of OnePlus China and he’ll be responsible for the company’s business operation in the Chinese market.
Based on a report on Gizmochina, Li Jie had joined OPPO in 2010 and has played many roles during his 11 years of working at OPPO. Also, he served as the Head of User Operations for the company in China.

According to him, he aimed to act as a bridge between OnePlus and its customers in order to better convert the voice of the customers to his team.
Li Jie was also hoping to provide better services and products in order to expand the brand’s footprints.
The development came at a time when the company was gearing up to launch its next-generation flagship smartphones under the OnePlus 10 lineup.
Gizmochina reported that OnePlus had already started taking pre-orders for the OnePlus 10 Pro, which was set to officially launch on January 11 in the Chinese market.
Reportedly, the said device will have Samsung’s LTPO 2.0 display that offered a 2K+ screen resolution and a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate, always-on display feature, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 5,000mAh battery capacity, and a 32MP front camera.
