In the past two years, a lot of celebrities from ABS-CBN have transferred to its rival network.

Among those are Bea Alonzo, Xian Lim, Albert Martinez, Beauty Gonzalez, Richard Yap, Khalil Ramos, and John Lloyd Cruz.

Apparently, there are those who feel threatened whenever there’s a celebrity transferring from one network to another.

This might be due to the fact that more projects are being offered to new actors/actresses.

But according to Gabby Eigenmann, he’s not threatened by stars transferring to GMA-7.

In fact, he’s excited to work with them in the near future.

When asked if he’s tempted to transfer to another network as well, he said: “Hindi po. I’m home and I’m grateful because inaalagaan ako ng GMA,”

Meanwhile, Gabby Eigenmann stars in the latest episode of Magpakailanman titled “Balut Vendor Turned Inventor: The Roland Barrientos Story.”

Gabby will play the role of Roland, a balut vendor.

Roland’s wife Karen (played by Rochelle Pangilinan) is not satisfied with her husband’s income so she goes abroad to work. However, they end up parting ways with Roland left blaming himself.

Roland promises their children, especially his eldest daughter Rochelle (Ashley Ortega), that he will do everything to rebuild their family, but it did not happen.

Roland focuses on his children until he meets Jennifer (Myrtle Sarrosa), who is ten years younger than him.

But Roland and Jennifer’s romance will cause the relationship between Roland and his daughter to break down.

“Balut Vendor Turned Inventor: The Roland Barrientos Story” will air this Saturday, 7:15 pm, on GMA-7.
