DINGDONG DANTES — The Kapuso actor thanked the Office of the Vice President (OVP) for helping his family recover from coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Dingdong shared that January 23 was the last day of their 10-day quarantine. According to him, they first felt the coronavirus symptoms days after receiving their booster shots.
The actor noted they have no idea where they got the virus but went ahead with self-isolation right away. He also shared that they found the ordeal challenging.
“Naging mahirap para sa amin, since lahat kami nagkaroon nang sabay-sabay, naging mahirap ‘yung mobility para sa amin,” Dingdong admitted. “Naging mahirap ‘yung movements lalo na sa pagbili ng gamot, sa paghanda ng pagkain, pagbili ng pagkain, and masasabi ko, nalampasan namin ito dahil sa tulong ng maraming tao, lalo na ng mga tao na malalapit sa amin, katulad ng nanay ko.“
The actor then gave a shoutout to his mother, saying that his mother sent him his favorite food.
Apart from his friends and family, Dingdong also expressed his gratitude to the Office of the Vice President (OVP), which sent them a COVID care package.
The actor noted how the COVID care package was a big help for their family, and to those who were experiencing the same situation.

Dingdong and actress Marian Rivera have been married for 8 years.
Meanwhile, the actor warned the public against a fake LinkedIn account bearing his name, photo, and credentials. He also called on the public to report the fake “Jose Sixto Dantes III” LinkedIn account.
