COMELEC – The Commission on Elections has released the final face of ballots to be used for the upcoming polls.

The May 9, 2022 election is just around the corner.

The candidates are also gearing up as the election nears by attending interviews, debates, and podcasts wherein they share their platforms and programs.

In line with this, the poll body has released the final face of ballots to be used for the upcoming elections.

The official ballots contained ten (10) presidential candidates and nine (9) vice-presidential aspirants.

Among the tandem who will face off in the coming elections are Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

Aside from the aforementioned candidates, the ballots also contained the names of 64 senatorial aspirants and 178 party-list groups.

Comelec has already given a go-signal for the National Printing Office to start the printing of automated election ballots to be used for the May 9 elections.

Meanwhile, the campaign period for national positions will kick off this coming February 8 while the campaign period for local candidates will start on March 25.

The upcoming election is scheduled for May 9, 2022 (national and local level).
