The COVID-19 pandemic remains to be the biggest challenge that the country is facing today. This disease that started way back in 2019 in Wuhan, China has placed a lot of lives at risk and has even taken the lives of many people.

In order to somehow lessen the surge of COVID-19 cases, lockdowns are being imposed.

In fact, swift lockdowns are routinely imposed in select areas in China when cases of the virus are detected as per zero COVID-19 policy.

Apparently, a woman in China got stuck at her blind date’s house for at least one month due to lockdown.

According to the report, the woman was identified as Zhao Xiaoqing while her blind date, Zhao Fei.

After a month of being together, they are now engaged.

Xiaoqing said that her family was among those who introduced her to Fei on a blind date.

This prompted her to pay a visit to the man’s house in Xianyang, Shaanxi province last December.

Apparently, the supposed blind date was extended for a month due to a lockdown in the area.

The problem is, Xiaoqing didn’t like Fei right away. But because of staying at Fei’s house for a few weeks, she eventually liked him.

For now, they plan to get married in six months.

This is not the first time such happened.

Previously, a woman in Zhengzhou, China identified as Ms. Wang was stuck at the house of her blind date for four (4) days.
