Viu and ABS-CBN Entertainment sealed their partnership during a contract signing event at ABS-CBN attended by Viu Philippines country manager Arianne Kader-Cu, ABS-CBN COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, Viu Philippines Content Development Manager Garlic Garcia, and Dreamscape Entertainment Head Deo Endrinal.

ABS-CBN Entertainment’s collaboration with Viu was its 3rd with a streaming service, following its content deal with iQiyi and its partnership with WeTV iflix.

To kick off the partnership, the upcoming Kapamilya drama series “The Broken Marriage Vow” will be available on Viu in the Philippines on January 22, 2022, or 48 hours before its TV broadcast.

With Viu as our partner, we will be able to champion excellent Filipino content and talent. Thank you very much to Viu for trusting ABS-CBN Entertainment as a partner,” Vidanes said.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN’s upcoming drama series “The Broken Marriage Vow” was the Philippine adaptation of “Doctor Foster”, which tells the story of Dr. Jill Illustre (Jodi Sta. Maria), whose life turned upside down when she suspected that her husband, David (Zanjoe Marudo), is having an affair.

It was last December when Dreamscape Entertainment released the full trailer of the show. Some viewers couldn’t help but express their praises for ABS-CBN for another one-of-a-kind series.

Those who wanted to watch the show first via Viu may download the Viu app on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, selected Smart TVs, as well as on the web.
