It’s natural for many Filipinos to believe in feng shui and superstitions in the hope that 2022 will be prosperous and lucky.

Now that the year 2022 is approaching, Hanz had posted on his Facebook account a list of some of the things to do, to wear, and to remember in the New Year.

According to Hanz, it’s good to wear red clothes on December 31 and January 1 in order to attract money luck, while yellow gold was the color theme at home and office.

Inside the house, Hanz said that it’s important to do general cleaning before 2022 enters.

Hanz added that all the lights in the house should be on because the fire element was bright light and it can attack prosperity.

Since 2022 was the “Year of the Water Tiger”, it was said that it’s lucky to display a tiger in the middle of the house or living room in addition to hanging a tiger lucky charm on the door.

Hanz also said that the wallet should be filled with money and coins should be put in the pockets, adding that Also splash a coin into the house.

Hanz instructed them to prepare pancit, noodles, or spaghetti to be served at media noche along with pork, fish, and chicken. He added that it’s okay if there’s sweet food.

Also, Hanz reminded them not to forget the 12 kinds of fruit that symbolize all the months of the year. Fruit can also be rolled into the house.

Hanz’s long list also included praying over the blessings received in 2021 with the whole family.

In his advice, Hanz always reminded that feng shui only served as a guide in daily living and success was still in one’s hands.
