Trillanes Claims Duterte has Secret Candidate if Bongbong Marcos Gets Disqualified

Trillanes: “Dito natin makikita kung sino ang admin candidate”

ANTONIO TRILLANES IV – The former senator claimed that President Rodrigo Duterte has a secret candidate if Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. gets disqualified from the presidential race.

Marcos Jr. is rooting for the highest government position in the coming elections.

He will go against presidential aspirants such as; Vice President Leni Robredo, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and senators Manny Pacquiao and Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.

The son of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. is facing five (5) disqualification petitions at the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Like previous disqualification petitions, the new disqualification case against Marcos Jr. asserted his 1995 conviction for failing to file his income tax returns.

Among the signatories to the petition were Akbayan First Nominee Perci Cendaña and former Commission on Human Rights Chairperson Etta Rosales.

Meanwhile, Trillanes claimed in an interview with Ina Andolong and Michael Fajatin via “Politiskoop” that President Duterte has a secret candidate if Marcos Jr. gets disqualified from the presidential race.

“Sa Comelec, dito natin makikita kung sino ang admin candidate. Kung madi-disqualify si Bongbong Marcos ng Comelec, ibig sabihin hindi sumapi sila Duterte. Ibig sabihin nun mayroon silang secret candidate,” he said.

“Pero kung hindi siya i-disqualify, it’s either neutral sila o nagsanib-puwersa sila kay Bongbong Marcos so ‘yung disqualification case ni Bongbong Marcos actually is the ultimate manifestation kung nasaan si Duterte,” he added.

Meanwhile, aside from his alleged tax evasion case, Marcos Jr. is also facing disqualification over the acts of his late dictator father during the Martial Law and claims that he is allegedly an impostor.
