KA LEODY – The presidential aspirant has no comment as of now after being criticized over his “yayamanin” Christmas photo.
Recently, Leody De Guzman also known as Ka Leody took to social media wherein he posted a photo of him alongside his family during the Christmas celebration.
In the said photo, he and his family can be seen enjoying the festivity inside their “grandiose” house. His kids were even holding an expensive dog and cat.
His photo immediately earn mixed reactions from the netizens with some criticizing him.
Others claimed that what is being depicted in his photo is far from his public image as a poor person fighting for the welfare of workers.
But Ka Leody has no comment to bashers criticizing his Christmas family photo.
“No comment as of now. (Ka Leody) prefers to comment on the burning issues of the Filipino people,” Chad Sadorra, his media relations officer said.
Some supporters of the presidential candidate also came to defend him.
“Kailangan ba talaga mahirap si Ka-Leody to represent laborers? Kailangan ba talaga magmukhang mahirap si Ka-Leody to represent yung mga marginalized? Kung makapanghusga naman ang mga tao dito, as if ninakaw ni Ka-Leody sa kaban ng bayan ang pinagpagawa sa bahay niya,” said @eaudefrancois·
Meanwhile, Leody De Guzman is rooting for the highest position in the coming elections.
He will go against popular presidential aspirants; Vice President Leni Robredo, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, as well as senators Manny Pacquiao and Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.
Among the senatorial aspirants under his slate are; Luke Espiritu, Roy Cabonegro, David D’angelo, Chel Diokno, Senadora Risa Hontiveros, Neri Colmenares, Bong Labog, Sonny Matula and Leila de Lima.
The aforementioned lineup consists of environmentalists, labor leaders, human rights lawyers, and reelectionist senators.
Leody is the standard-bearer of the Lakas ng Masa Party. He will run for the presidency even if he only finishes 38th in the 2019 senatorial elections.
