It was on Wednesday, December 8 when the BBM-SARA tandem held a caravan in Quezon City.

The event drew thousands of BBM-SARA supporters which resulted in traffic congestion along Congressional and Quezon Avenues.

The caravan started past 8 a.m. and finished around 1 p.m. at Welcome Rotonda.

The BBM-SARA caravan was organized by Anakalusugan party-list representative and Quezon City mayoral candidate Mike Defensor and his running mate Winnie Castelo.

Among those who joined the caravan are riders of Angkas wearing their blue uniform.

This prompted journalist Jay Sonza to express his views about the riders joining the caravan.

He explained in a Facebook post why the Angkas riders joined the caravan.

According to him, it was Bongbong Marcos and his sister Imee Marcos who stand with the motorcycle vehicle for hire and package delivery company when its operation was suspended in the Philippines.

“These poor riders know who stood for them and with them, in their most trying days. It was Marcos Jr. Kaya hindi nakapagtataka na kahapon, buong giting nilang binagtas ang kalsa ng Lungsod Quezon upang ipadama ang kanilang pagtanaw ng utang na loob,” he said.

Sonza’s followers on Facebook agreed with his statement about Angkas and the Marcoses.

To recall, it was just last year when the motorcycle-hailing firm temporarily halt its passenger services as a response to the government’s community quarantine order in the region.

The Marcos siblings were among those who express their support to the riders and members of Angkas.
