Glaiza de Castro and Xian Lim on possible music collaboration: “Nasimulan na”
GLAIZA AND XIAN — Here’s what Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro and actor Xian Lim about their possible music collaboration.
It was last Thursday when the “False Positive” co-stars said in an online interview with the press that music was one of the things that helped them get comfortable with each other since it’s also their first time working together.
In fact, among the stuff they talked about most while filming for “False Positive” were music theories. As such, members of the press asked the two if a collaboration between them was possible.
Both of them surprised everyone when they said they have already started on something, and that it’s almost finished.
“Nasimulan na. Meron na kaming kanya. Lyrics and music by Glaiza and Xian,” Xian said excitedly. “Nagkekwentuhan lang kami tapos sabi niya may maganda siyang naisip na kanta tapos nag-hum lang siya, ta’s pinakuha ko yung gitara ko, pinakuha niya gitara niya, nag-jamming kami.”

According to them, it all started while they’re just talking casually and realized that they both have guitars on set.
Though there wasn’t formality yet, it looked like it’s gonna come sooner than expected. In any case, the public will surely be looking out for it.
“Nagulat talaga ako. Meron akong kinanta, tapos the next day, meron siyang mga chords,” Glaiza said. “Ire-record na lang namin so I think ‘yon na yung start ng musical journey namin.”
In the meantime, Glaiza and Xian were going to play newlyweds in the upcoming Kapuso series “False Positive”. The series also starred Rochelle Panganiban, Buboy Villar, and Nova Villa, among others.
