It was on October 7 when Noli left his Kabayan program on TeleRadyo, the AM radio of ABS-CBN. Aside from Kabayan, he also has to leave his anchor duties in the prime-time news program TV Patrol.

At the time, he plans to run for senator in the 2022 elections.

Kabayan was not new in the world of politics. It was in 2001 when he was elected to the Senate of the Philippines. From 2004 until 2010, he served as the 12th Vice President of the Philippines under then-President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

But five days later, Noli withdrew his candidacy due to personal reasons.

Eventually, news spread that Noli will not return to ABS-CBN.

According to PEP.ph, it is possible that he will be seen on TV5 and will replace Raffy Tulfo with Frontline Pilipinas as the main anchor.

Raffy will run for senator in the next election in the senatorial slate of Manny Pacquiao and Buhay party-list representative Lito Atienza.

On Thursday, November 4, Noli shared on his Instagram a short video where he can be seen on a beach.

In the caption, Noli said that he will return to TeleRadyo on Monday, November 8.

His post was accompanied by the caption: “Salamat po, sa kaunting pagkakataon na ma-enjoy ko ang beach, bago bumalik muli sa Teleradyo sa Lunes, kita kits kabayan.”
