John Lloyd Cruz sitcom on GMA-7 starring Miles Ocampo, Jayson Gainza and more
MILES OCAMPO and JAYSON GAINZA – The two former Kapamilya stars will join the GMA-7 sitcom of John Lloyd Cruz.
John Lloyd, who earlier signed a contract under the Kapuso network will star in the sitcom, Happy Together.
On November 9, actress Carmi Martin took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein she posted a snap of the sitcom’s story conference.
John Lloyd Cruz, Miles Ocampo and even Janus del Prado were tagged on the said post.
Although he was not mentioned, Jayson Gainza will also join the sitcom directed by Bobot Mortiz.
Jayson and Miles both started their careers with ABS-CBN.
They also worked with Mortiz via Sunday Kada, with TV5 and Brightlight Productions. It was supposed to air for another season but it did not push through after its season break earlier this year.
Despite Jayson’s addition to the sitcom, he is still doing a youth-oriented show with ABS-CBN starring Vivoree Esclito, Kaori Oinuma, and JC Alcantara.
Aside from Jayson, Miles and Janus, joining the sitcom are Kapuso artists Ashley Rivera and Jenzel Angeles.
Apparently, John Lloyd’s reported leading lady, Andrea Torres was not present in the story conference of the sitcom.
However, it’s yet to be announced if she’s still the leading lady of the actor or another one has already been chosen.
The taping and airing of Happy Together which is under the unit of Abacan, handles blocktimer programs including Eat Bulaga! and Daddy’s Gurl, has yet to be announced by GMA-7.
