Jennylyn Mercado on John Lloyd Cruz: “Welcome to GMA Lloydie!”
Jennylyn Mercado was among the first to personally welcome John Lloyd Cruz to Kapuso Network.
The two were together at a brand event held at the Araneta Coliseum which premiered on GMA-7, Sunday night.
After the event, Jennylyn happily shared some photos of her alongside John Lloyd.
Her post was accompanied by the caption: “Welcome to GMA Lloydie!”
It was in 2016 when John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado first teamed up via the Star Cinema movie, “Just The 3 of Us.”
At that time, John Lloyd, a well-known award-winning actor and homegrown talent of the Kapamilya network, was under ABS-CBN.
John Lloyd’s appearance in the brand event that aired on GMA-7 was the first time he was seen on television again after almost four years of lying low in the world of showbiz.
Willie also confirmed that he will collaborate with John Lloyd for a “prime-time show” on GMA Network.
In the said event, the Wowowin host made a shout out to Maja Salvador, the owner and head of Crown Artist Management, the talent management company that handles John Lloyd’s showbiz career.
