It was in the year 2018 when the Comedy Queen handle the group as their manager. But a year later, she decided to leave them due to many issues.

Their separation was controversial at the time. But today, the group shared what they learned from the issues they went through.

In the video of Kapuso Showbiz, Flow G said that they realized that their beliefs are not always correct.

According to him, what happened also taught the group members to be closer to each other.

Although there were times when they knew they were right, they also chose to remain silent and not speak out of respect for AiAi whom they called Mama Ai.

Flow G stressed that their respect for AiAi prevails so they said nothing against her.

Brando added that they have also learned to just ignore the issues being thrown against them because they know what is true.

King Badger who worked with AiAi on a series after AiAi’s resignation as manager of the Ex Battalion, said nothing has changed in the actress’ treatment of him.

He said that he and Mama Ai were still talking on the set as if nothing had happened.

“We were good. Sa tingin ko kung ganun siya sa akin, ganun din siya with the rest of the boys,” he said.

Currently, the group is gearing up for their concert this coming December 3 at Araneta Coliseum with a live simulcast online.

Ex-Battalion is considered the most successful mainstream hip-hop collective in the country.

It is behind the hit single “Hayaan Mo Sila” which even landed as Number 2 in Billboard Philippine Top 20 in 2017.

The group is composed of rappers; Honcho, Skusta Clee, Flow G, Brando, Emcee Rhenn, JRoa, King Badger and to name a few.
