Vice Pres. Robredo’s Senate Slate Members Named
ROBREDO’S SENATE SLATE – The senatorial slate of Vice President Leni Robredo for the 2022 Election is now out.
Election talks are undeniably everywhere now most especially on the social media platforms. A lot of Filipinos are already vocal with their political bets in the upcoming bid.
Currently, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is back on the process of voter registration as the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) closed. One of those who filed her candidacy for president is Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.
The Vice President was nominated by the opposition coalition 1SAMBAYAN. She filed her candidacy as an independent candidate.
Vice Pres. Robredo tapped Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan as her running-mate in the upcoming election. He is a candidate of the Liberal Party.
Recently, Vice Pres. Robredo’s senate slate for the Election 2022 was confirmed complete. She expressed that her senate slate is composed of people from different parties.
Based on a report on Daily Guardian, here are the senatorial aspirants included in Vice Pres. Robredo’s senate slate:

- Senator Risa Hontiveros (Liberal Party)
- Human Rights Lawyer Chel Diokno (Katipunan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino)
- Former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV (Magdalo)
- Atty. Alex Lacson (Kapatiran Party)
- Sen. Leila de Lima (Liberal Party)
- Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri (Independent)
- Sen. Leila de Lima (Liberal Party)
- Former Ifugao Representative Teddy Baguilat (Liberal Party)
- Sen. Richard Gordon (Independent)
- Sen. Joel Villanueva (Independent)
- Former Vice Pres. Jejomar Binay (United Nationalist Alliance)
Vice Pres. Robredo is vocal of her belief that it would be a huge challenge for her and her supporters as her camp has no resources. Meanwhile, she is overwhelmed by the support she got when she announced her bid for president and when she filed her candidacy to COMELEC.
