Eumir Marcial and his girlfriend for 9 years are now married
EUMIR MARCIAL – The Olympic bronze medalist in the 2020 Tokyo Games tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Jenniel Galarpe.
Tying the knot is probably one of the highly anticipated events for a couple.
A lot of personalities have exchanged “I do” with their partners even this time of the pandemic.
Marcial and Galarpe got married in an intimate beach wedding on Thursday, October 28.
He took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he live-streamed their wedding at the seashore as the sun set attended by few guests.
Among those who are present at their wedding were Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, Olympic silver medalists Nesthy Petecio and Carlo Paalam, and Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president and Cavite Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino.
The couple, who are both boxers, have been together for nine years already. They got engaged in June last year.
Meanwhile, Eumir Felix de los Santos Marcial made a name for himself in the world of boxing after securing a silver medal at the 2019 World Championships and bronze at the 2020 Summer Olympics, both in the middleweight division.
After his victorious tilt at the Olympics, he decided to turn to professional this year since becoming part of Pacquiao’s MP Promotions.
He is now looking forward to having his own title belt in his professional boxing career.
In his Olympic stint, aside from receiving properties in Tagaytay and Zamboanga City, he also earned at least P7 million from the government and various sports patrons.
