Liza Soberano reacts to fake news she’s supporting Bongbong Marcos for President
LIZA SOBERANO – The Kapamilya actress denied that she is supporting presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The former senator will run for the highest position in the government in the 2022 elections. He will go against presidential aspirants; Vice President Leni Robredo, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, senators Manny Pacquiao, Ping Lacson and Bato dela Rosa.
A lot of celebrities have resorted to social media to declare support for their presidential candidate.
Liza Soberano alongside Angel Locsin, Nadine Samonte, Jolina Magdangal, Agot Isidro, Enchong Dee, Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, and to name a few have been vocal about rooting VP Robredo for President.
But recently, a post wherein she allegedly declared her support to Bongbong Marcos went viral online.
This prompted her to call out the user who’s behind spreading false information about her. She also took to Instagram wherein she asked her followers to report the fake account.
Meanwhile, her talent manager Ogie Diaz also reacted to the fake news. He went to the social networking site, Facebook to debunk the false information.
According to him, instead of sharing fake news, why not share the achievements of BBM. His post was then flooded with comments from the netizens.
While talks about politics continue to become intense on social media, Facebook has been wary to netizens, especially with fake news.
