Sen. Imee Marcos describes Robredo and other hopefuls in the presidential polls.
IMEE MARCOS – The senator on Wednesday made a description about presidential candidates; Robredo, Pacquiao, Lacson, Bato dela Rosa and Isko Moreno.
Imee is an incumbent senator of the Republic of the Philippines while her brother Bongbong Marcos, was also running for the highest post in the government in the coming elections.
In an interview, she went on describing the hopefuls for the presidency starting off with Vice President Leni Robredo, the wife of late DILG secretary Jesse Robredo, whom she regarded as an “extraordinary housewife.”
According to her, the presidentiables should not be underestimated.
On the other hand, she said that Sen. Manny Pacquiao is the “idol of the country” and has a “heart of a champion.”
“Kaibigan naman natin ‘yan kahit na may pitik-pitik lately,” she noted. Earlier, the boxing icon said that the Marcos family should return their ill-gotten wealth which they allegedly earned during Martial Law.
Imee Marcos said that Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson is an “eagle-eyed investigator.”
“Busing-busy kami sa budget. Siya talaga naghihimay nun. Ang galing e… Naging expert na siya sa finance,” she said.
Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is “ispiring” because for her, he has the “best rags to riches story.”
The daughter of the late President Ferdinand Marcos was referring to the actor-turned-politician who rose from being a garbage picker to mayor of Manila City.
She described Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa as a “model policeman” and her “BFF” (best friend forever) in the Senate.
Meanwhile, an immense battle is expected between the candidates in the coming days or months before the elections.
