Former TNT finalist Froilan Canlas reveals reason why he left It’s Showtime management
FROILAN CANLAS – The former Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) finalist answered loyalty issue after leaving It’s Showtime management.
It was just recently when the singer signed a contract under MAK Entertainment, a US-based company producing concerts and managing artists. Joining him in the contract signing is Keifer Sanchez, a member of the TNT Boys.
Froilan is a voice coach and singer who won third place in the first season of Tawag ng Tanghalan, a singing competition on the noontime program, It’s Showtime. At the time, Noven Belleza won as the grand champion.
According to him, he expected to receive negative comments following his transfer to another management company.
But he stressed that one should explain the reason behind transferring to another management company because it will serve as the basis for people’s opinion.
“Pero kung papaniwalaan mo man o hindi, kung magugustuhan man nila ang sasabihin mo o hindi, siguro ang importante ipaliwanag natin nang maayos kung bakit tayo umalis,” he said.
Froilan shared when he decided to leave the management of It’s Showtime, he had consulted Reily Santiago, the business unit head of the Kapamilya noontime show.
In his interview with the members of the press including PEP.ph, he also revealed the reason why he left It’s Showtime.
Froilan admitted that unemployment on It’s Showtime and the desire to have an income were among the reasons why he left the management.
Froilan Canlas also shared his upcoming projects under his newest management company.
