In his Facebook post on Wednesday, Richard shared his thoughts after watching Toni Gonzaga’s “Toni Talks” episodes featuring Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Much respect to Celestine ‘Toni’ Gonzaga for featuring both VP Leni Robredo and Bongbong Marcos on her show,” Richard said in his post.

According to him, it’s always refreshing and informative to see people feature both sides to the people and let the people decide for themselves while mainstream media outlets “continue to feature only one side”.

Richard’s post came after Toni, who thanked her supporters as her YouTube channel reached 4 million subscribers, found herself in hot water following her interview with the former senator.

Toni’s latest “Toni Talks” episode featuring Bongbong Marcos already reached over 1.9 million video views and more than 43,000 dislikes as of this writing.

The said episode was uploaded last September 13, the day Bongbong celebrated his birthday.

Meanwhile, the Ateneo Martial Law Museum posted a statement criticizing the host over her interview with the former senator.

In an open letter published on Facebook, the Ateneo Martial Law Museum was hoping that Toni will take the opportunity to talk and listen to the “real heroes who suffered and fought against the Marcoses”.

The Ateneo Martial Law Museum stands ready to facilitate your encounter with the victims of Martial Law and with the truth. In fact, we think that hearing their stories and struggles will be much more inspirational for your audience than talking to anyone from the Marcos family,” an excerpt from Ateneo Martial Law Museum’s open letter to Toni Gonzaga.
