MAUREEN WROBLEWITZ – The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 candidate shared about her mental health battle on Instagram.
Recently, she went to the image-sharing site wherein she opened up about her mental health battle.
Before heading toward the busy days of MUP, Maureen took a quick trip to her hometown in Pangasinan.
In a lengthy caption, she noted that behind her posts on social media, there are challenges she had to go through every day.
The 23-year-old model added that she had always been pressuring herself for improvement.
According to her, she has not been really open about her mental health because she’s embarrassed to share her struggles.

Maureen Christa Pojas Wroblewitz rose to fame when she became the first Filipina to win in the fifth season of Asia’s Next Top Model.
Maureen was born in Saudi Arabia to a Filipino mom and German dad.
She lived in Riyadh for 12 years, but when her mom died, she and her family relocated to Germany.
It was in 2015 when she moved to the Philippines to pursue a modeling career.
She later joined Asia’s Next Top Model and fortunately won.
As the winner, she received a Subaru Impreza, a cover and fashion spread in the July issue of Nylon Singapore, and a chance to obtain a modeling contract with Storm Model Management in London.
She later ventured into showbiz and has appeared in different shows such as Tonight with Boy Abunda, News5, Rated K, and CNN Philippines.
She also became a co-host of the GMA-7 variety show Eat Bulaga!
Early this year, she signed a contract under Star Magic as Maureen Wrob.
At present, she’s gearing up to represent Pangasinan in the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant.
