It was on Saturday, September 18 when the 30-year-old painter was found lifeless inside a hotel in La Union which she shared with her boyfriend Julian Ongpin. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead.

The latest development in the mysterious death of Bree Jonson whose full name is Breana Patricia Jonson Agunod, is the CCTV footage released by the Philippine National Police (PNP) showing moments before she was found dead.

Based on the video, Ongpin went out of their room and sat down by the stairs. Shortly, he started to consume a bottle of wine. Then, Jonson went outside, talked to Ongpin, drank wine, and eventually went back inside their room. The two seemed “like having an altercation with each other.”

After her body was found, the authorities conducted an initial investigation at the scene. Police found cocaine inside their room.

Later on, Ongpin- the son of billionaire Roberto Ongpin tested positive for a drug test. Jonson was positive for cocaine as well as disclosed by Eleazar.

Ongpin is now facing charges related to illegal drugs but due to pending investigation, he was released by the La Union Prosecutor’s Office.

Following his release, he was put under the immigration lookout list as requested by Jonson’s mother to the Department of Justice.
