Does Karen Davila get paid in featuring or interviewing politicians?
KAREN DAVILA – The veteran broadcast journalist said she does not get paid to feature or interview politicians.
Recently, she went to Twitter wherein she revealed that she was asked about how much does she charge to politicians being featured on her YouTube channel.
The 50-year-old television presenter is popular on the video-sharing platform, YouTube, and has more than 400k subscribers.
Since she launched her channel, she has interviewed lots of personalities such as celebrities, politicians and to name a few.
According to her, she’s not paid whenever she interviews or feature a politician on her channel.
Unfortunately, her tweet might have been deleted.
Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero is the latest politician she interviewed on her YouTube channel alongside the former senator’s wife Heart Evangelista.
Meanwhile, Kristine Karen Lising Davila-Sta. Ana or publicly known as Karen Davila is a journalist, radio broadcaster, newsreader, television presenter, and YouTube content creator.
As a professional journalist, she has received awards internationally, including an award from the New York Festival and the Ten Outstanding Young Men Awards for Broadcast Journalism in 2008.
She has more than 20 awards in the professional journalism field from both local and international organizations.
She was one of People Asia Magazine’s People of the Year in 2013.
She was also recognized by the Philippine Senate as one of the Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS).
Karen Davila is married to Daryl Jake “DJ” Sta. Ana, Head of Operations for TV5’s News5. They have two (2) children, named David and Lucas.
