Here’s why Heaven Peralejo is “kuripot”
HEAVEN PERALEJO – The Pasabuy star revealed in an exclusive interview why she’s a proud “kuripot.”
Heaven came to prominence after joining Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 where she’s dubbed as Mommy’s Angel ng Makati. After PBB, she ventured into acting.
She now stars in the new digital rom-com series, Pasabuy directed by actor Xian Lim.
In the series, Heaven portrays the role of Anna, a popular vlogger working on her latest video who is hiding her true feelings for her manager. While her love team partner Gino Roque plays the character of John, an aspiring musician trying to heal from a recent heartbreak.
Their paths crossed when they found themselves at the same resort just before the lockdown. Prior to that, they first met online via a virtual community for pasabuy orders.
But in an interview, she admitted that she’s not a big online shopper.
“Wala ako masyado binibili kasi nga siguro ano ako, kuripot ako,” she said. In fact, the most expensive thing she had for a pasabuy is coffee.
The young actress also shared why she chose to be “kuripot” in terms of her spending habits.
According to her, she wanted to save enough money for her future.
“So yun lang yung thinking ko na ngayon muna ako magkukuripot at magtitipid para sa future ko na hanggang pang apo na yun, mga ganun,” she said.
Meanwhile, Pasabuy which also stars Ellie Cayabyab, MJ Cayabyab, Ralph Malibunas, Gail Banawis, and Nana Silayro will premiere for free on WeTV Philippines.
