Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were set to star in “Too Good To Be True”.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were finally set to reunite on television after four years through the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Too Good To Be True”.
This was announced by Kathryn and Daniel last September 27 after they had a story conference for the new show.
According to the actress, they’re excited about the said project and the series was part of their 10th-anniversary celebration as the popular love team “KathNiel”. Daniel revealed that the series was “one year in the making”.
“Inaayos namin lahat with the team kung ano ‘yung gusto naming gawin, ano ba ‘yung gusto naming i-offer… Kung ano pa bang pwede naming gawin na something new for the people, para sa mga manonood. And now, nakagawa na kaming lahat ng isang magandang proyekto at isang magandang script and yes, ito na, gagawin na namin,” Daniel said.
Kathryn and Daniel didn’t provide details regarding their new project — such as cast members and storyline — but confirmed that “Too Good To Be True” fell under the romance-comedy genre.

The couple, who were last seen in “The House Arrest of Us” last January, admitted that they’re feeling excited and at the same time nervous about doing a new project especially at a time when the country was gripped by a pandemic.
Kathryn and Daniel also expressed their gratitude to ABS-CBN management for their continued trust and support, and to the production team of their new series as well.
Of course, Kathryn and Daniel didn’t forget to thank their loyal supporters as they invited them to support their new project.
PUSH reported that “Too Good To Be True” will be directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar.
Based on a report, no exact release date was given for the upcoming series, with Daniel and Kathryn only teasing that it’s coming soon.
