ATE GAY – The comedian apologized to It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda over bashers belittling the latter’s P20K aid.
This, after Vice admitted that he was hurt over bashers belittling the P20,000 aid he gave to a friend in need.
Ate Gay, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, took to Instagram wherein he made a clarification about the matter.
According to him, he released the breakdown of cash donations given by his friends when he was hospitalized due to below-the-belt comments he’s receiving.
Ate Gay is being criticized by some netizens after he said that he wanted to delete his Facebook friends who were fond of complaining about the government.
Netizens claimed that Ate Gay might be referring to Vice Ganda because of his openness to express his thoughts on the government’s shortcomings to the people.
Ate Gay stressed that he has no intention to drag the name of Vice Ganda- who was criticized by netizens.
His post was accompanied by an earlier statement wherein he claimed that there’s no bad blood between him and Vice Ganda. It was also stated that his hospital bill amounting to P600k has been paid by his sibling.
On Thursday, September 16, Vice Ganda shared on It’s Showtime an incident wherein he helped someone and unfortunately gained criticism. Vice did not want to acknowledge his secret aid, but the person he helped made public the amount he gave. Vice did not name who the friend he helped was, but it was immediately connected to Ate Gay.
