Vice Ganda Slams Government Officials Involved in Corruption

Vice Ganda once again slammed the government officials and agencies involved in corruption.

Vice Ganda

After interviewing a ReiNanay contestant, the It’s Showtime host and comedian couldn’t help but be impressed with the contestant who divided the small amount she won in the said contest to buy keypad cellphones for her students.

Nakakaloka,” he said.

Vice Ganda was furious at corrupt officials who are not contented despite pocketing a large amount of money.

The comedian cited issues within the government such as the purchase of overpriced laptops and sanitary napkins.

Vice Ganda also has a plea to those sitting in the government but involved in corruption.

Watch the video below:

He also urged the public to register and make sure to vote in the upcoming elections.

Although Vice Ganda did not mention what government agency he’s referring to, it’s obvious that he’s talking about alleged corruption within the Department of Health (DOH).

This, after the Commission on Audit (COA), flagged numerous transactions of government agencies including DOH.

Among the questionable items flagged by COA are the planned purchase of 4 laptops amounting to P700,000; P42.4 billion fund transfer to the DBM without proper documentation and failure to disburse some P4.8 million in financial assistance to health care workers.

The Senate has already called an investigation regarding the “deficiencies” within DOH and other government agencies.
