Recently, Angel made a tribute to all the health workers amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the country.

However, her supposed message of encouragement to the medical frontliners was not well-received by the Undersecretary and Director General at Philippine Information Agency.

He said that the actress has either got “no brain cells” or has a “wrong appreciation of things.”

In her post, Angel said that even in the absence of politicians, businessmen, and actors like her, the world can still work but not without the healthcare workers.

The undersecretary believes that each profession plays a significant role in the ecosystem we live in where everything is linked and interconnected contrary to claims of the Kapamilya actress.

After insulting Angel Locsin, some came to defend the actress including her husband Neil Arce.

Neil retaliated and even challenged him for a face-off.

Aside from Neil, among those who came out to defend Angel Locsin is no less than actress Arlene Muhlach.

Here’s the reaction of Arlene to statement of Mon Cualoping against Angel Locsin:

Mon, on the other hand, responded by posting an open letter addressed to Muhlach.

He stressed that he has been consistent in defending the government since day 1 of 2016. He also noted that he does not need to be popular because that’s not his job.
