Here’s what Sharifa Akeel meant about “6 years” in her tribute post for husband Toto Mangudadatu
SHARIFA AKEEL – The former beauty queen explained what she meant by “six years” in her tribute post to her husband Maguindanao Second District Representative Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu.
A day after their star-studded wedding, Sharifa went to Instagram wherein she spoke for the first time her love story with the politician.
In her letter, Sharifa thanked Toto for being with her for the past six (6) years.
Many wondered what she meant when she mentioned “six years.”
It appears to be that she was only17 or 18-years-old when she and the Congressman had a relationship.
But through Facebook, the former beauty queen made a clarification about it.
She added that Mangudadatu has been persistent in pursuing her and waited for the time she’s ready to enter a relationship.
According to her, it was only this year that she realized that the Muslim politician is what’s missing in her life.
Eventually, they decided to tie the knot.
Meanwhile, the relationship between Mangudadatu and Sharifa became controversial due to the accusations of Toto’s other wife, Mylene Maligaya-Mangudadatu, last year.
Mylene claimed that her husband and Sharifa have been in a relationship since 2019. Sharifa broke her silence at the time by calling her “Ms. Desperada.”
Mylene had threatened to file a complaint in court against Sharifa, but it did not push through.
Sharifa is Filipino-Qatari and was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International in 2018. She is a native of Sultan Kudarat in Mindanao.
On the other hand, Congressman Mangudadatu is a longtime politician.
Toto has a 9-year-old daughter named Princess Keilah Del Rosario with actress Ynez Veneracion.
