Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque made the statement after he heard the vice president’s political jingle on a radio station.

According to Roque, there is no denying that VP Leni’s plan for the 2022 elections has been completed despite her statements that she does not want to politicize in the midst of the pandemic.

The secretary also criticized the seemingly early hint in VP Leni’s paid political ad that it was clearly funded.

In the said political ad of the vice president, her plans for the 2022 elections were not mentioned but among the remarkable lines based on TNT Abante are: “Kay Leni Robredo hindi ka bigo, may tama, may puso para sa Pilipino.”

Robredo is the wife of late former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo– who passed away in a plane crash.

She was then the representative of Camarines Sur before she ran as vice president and won in the 2016 elections.

On the other hand, Harry Roque is a former law professor serving as the presidential spokesperson of President Rodrigo Duterte.

He first served as Duterte’s Presidential Spokesperson from 2017 to 2018 and was reappointed in April 2020.

He previously served as the Party-list Representative of KABAYAN from 2016 to 2017.

He was requested by President Rodrigo Duterte to be his presidential spokesperson, and on October 27, 2017, Roque was officially appointed, replacing Ernesto Abella.

On November 22, 2017, he was designated presidential adviser for human rights concurrent with being the presidential spokesperson.

Roque is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Asian Society of International Law (AsianSIL) and was president of AsianSIL from 2018 to 2019.
