Recently, the FB page posted a photo on social media wherein a huge number of people outside a mall can be seen.

It was accompanied by the caption: “YORME. Sa Maynila ganito kami, sa 2022 buong Pilipinas na rin sana.”

Apparently, the photo was taken in Antipolo and not in Manila.

This prompted the Manila Public Information Office to issue a warning against the Facebook page regarding the said post.

“FAKE NEWS ALERT: Ang mall na nasa litrato ay hindi matatagpuan sa Lungsod ng Maynila. Paki-report po bilang “fake news” ang naturang post. Maraming salamat po,” it noted.

The photo posted by Mocha Uson Blog which also earned the ire of netizens has been deleted eventually.

After taking down the said post at the same time removing certain “Admin S”- who’s behind for posting the fake news, Mocha Uson Blog has posted a public apology.

It admitted that there’s a “lapse of judgement” and “lack of oversight” for their part upon posting the said photo.
