“Dodong” singer KZ Tandingan recently opened up about their baby plans with her husband TJ Monterde.
In a report on PUSH, KZ shared that having a baby was still not in the cards for them this year. According to her, she and TJ have only left Manila twice in their seven years together — Tagaytay and Batangas — and both happened just this year.
KZ also shared that they would already have been traveling to Japan if it weren’t for the ongoing pandemic.
“Kung binabayaran kami every time na tinatanong kami niyan, siguro mayaman na kami,” KZ said when asked about their baby plans.

She explained that one of the reasons why they didn’t want to have a baby first was because it seemed that when they have a baby, the baby automatically became their top priority over anything.
With this, KZ said that they wanted to enjoy their time together first. KZ also said she has been enjoying discovering more about her husband after almost a year of being married.
Meanwhile, her husband TJ shared that plans to grow their own family will have to wait a while even after being together for 7 years.
“Ang daming nagtatanong niyan. Kahit sa TikTok araw-araw nakukuha yung question na yan. Sa ngayon wala pa kasi sabi ko nga mag-a-anniversary kami this month pero hindi pa namin totally na-e-experience talaga kasi yung mag-ta-travel na kaming dalawa lang kasi kinasal kami sa pandemic so sa ngayon yung priority namin kami muna tapos kung maaari makapag-travel muna kami right after pag puwede na,” he said.
