Kim Domingo is positive with coronavirus
KIM DOMINGO – The Kapuso star took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she revealed that she tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
According to her, she did not expect to acquire the virus despite being careful all the time and even taking her vitamins and the fact that she’s already fully vaccinated.
She shared that whenever she enters their home, she always sanitizes/disinfects her stuff.
But on the night of August 26, she experienced chills while having a runny nose.
The following day, she woke up with a fever. She said that she had a headache and body pain at the time.
Eventually, she decided to undergo an RT PCR test and it turned out around 8 pm on August 27 that she’s positive for the coronavirus.
She then started to lose her sense of smell and taste. Fortunately, her fever subside.
For now, she’s okay and is taking a rest.
Due to her infection, she will no longer be part of the upcoming GMA series, Love Die Repeat.
Kim Domingo still doesn’t have any idea where she accumulated the virus.
She also encouraged her followers to get vaccinated in order to lessen the severity of COVID-19 once infected.
In the last part of her post, she thanked those who expressed their concern and praying for her fast recovery.
Kim Domingo is one of the many celebrities in the country who’s also infected with COVID-19.
COVID-19 is characterized by flu-like symptoms such as fever, difficulty in breathing, cough, and other respiratory problems but a patient may also be positive for the disease even without showing any signs.
Among the safety protocols that everyone must observe are the following; social/physical distancing, using disinfectant from time to time if possible, and wearing masks as well as face shields especially in public places.
