BTS made an appearance in Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Flip 3 ad.

South Korean pop group BTS recently made an appearance at Samsung’s online launch event for the newest models in their foldable smartphone series, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Based on initial online reactions, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 had particularly been a hit, with its unique clamshell makeup compact form and hip colors. The fact that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 was much cheaper than the previous model – though still somewhat expensive – had helped it gain some traction.

BTS was certainly only going to help the popularity of what was still a very young model in Samsung’s roster of smartphones.

The music group started in what was practically a new 3-minute music video for their hit song “Butter”, showing them in an indoor sport venue – the same venue found in the song’s original music video – a woman dancing in a train, and of course, the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

BTS also collaborated with Samsung before, releasing the BTS version of Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Samsung Galaxy Buds+.

Also trending on Twitter was BTS’ Suga who composed his rendition of Samsung’s “Over The Horizon”, which was the name of the melody of the default Samsung ringtone.

Suga’s rendition was played during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked August 2021 event as well, after the segment for the Galaxy Watch4 announcement, and right before the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was announced.

Also, a video where Suga discussed his inspirations for the tune had been published by Samsung. You can watch the video below.

Meanwhile, Gizguide reported that Galaxy Z Flip 3 was priced at PHP 52,990 for the 128GB variant and PHP 56,990 for the 256GB variant; while Galaxy Z Fold 3 was priced at PHP 87,990 for the 12GB/256GB variant and PHP 95,990 for the 12GB/512GB variant.
