TONY HAWK – The skateboarding legend had to explain to a reporter Margielyn Didal’s funny caption on her post.
Last week, the Filipina skateboarder took to social media wherein she posted a photo of her alongside Tony.
Her post is accompanied by the caption: “This guy asked me to take a photo with him and I let him because he looks like Tony Hawk.”
But it seemed that not everybody got the joke.
Recently, Tony Hawk went to Twitter wherein he shared that he was asked by a reporter about Margielyn Didal.
He wrote: “I was asked during an interview today: ‘How does it feel to go to the Olympics and not be recognized by competing skaters, like Margielyn Didal?'”
“So I had to explain that she was joking with her caption. My life is weird,” he added.
Meanwhile, Margielyn made a buzz with her vibrant energy during the women’s street skate event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
On the other hand, Tony Hawk appeared at the Summer Games as part of a broadcast panel from a US network.
