Citing Quiboloy’s supposed claims against Senator Pacquiao’s project in Sarangani with a purported price tag of PHP 3.5 billion, the senator said in an interview on dzBB that he’s just airing his side and not picking a fight.

According to Pacquiao, the budget for the said project wasn’t PHP 3.5 billion, but “nasa mga P350 million to 400 million or pinaka-maximum na P500 million”.

Recently, Pacquiao drew the ire of President Rodrigo Duterte and his allies after he criticized the Duterte administration’s “lacking” stance on the Philippines’ maritime dispute with China and flagged corruption within the Philippine government.

However, Pacquiao already clarified that he wasn’t trying to attack President Duterte after criticizing government corruption under the Duterte administration. According to the senator, he’s just helping the President crack down on corrupt officials in the country.
