When asked who will be included in their senatorial line-up, Sotto said in a DZMM Teleradyo interview that his party mates seeking a Senate seat in 2022 will be automatically included. These were Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero, House Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda, and former Senator JV Ejercito.

They’re all from NPC [Nationalist People’s Coalition],” said Sotto, who was the acting chairman of the party.

Sotto also mentioned Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Gringo Honasan, Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Senator Joel Villanueva, and Senator Richard Gordon as among those included in the lineup.

According to Sotto, they’re talking to more potential senatorial bets, whom he opted not to reveal for now.

We have others whom we like and are talking to. Before we release their names, we want first to talk to them so that they won’t be surprised. We might announce them and maybe they would say: ‘We don’t want that’,” Sotto said.
