Dani Barretto speaks about her dad Kier
DANI BARRETTO – The daughter of Marjorie Barretto opened up about her relationship with her father Kier Legaspi.
Recently, she guested on Vicki Belo’s vlog where they talked about her dad.
At one point, she shared how she and her father once got into a fight that forced them not to speak with each other for almost seven years.
According to her, she felt hurt not being with her dad knowing he’s “just around.”
She said: “Because I knew that he was just around eh. I knew that hindi naman siya OFW.”
“Pero parang when I got older and like when I had more freedom na to reach out to him and see him, I did, I tried. I reached out to him,” she added.
Dani Barretto shared about living with her father for three months.
However, it was short-lived following an issue between them that forced them not to speak with each other for almost seven years.
“There was a fight. Parang a fight occurred one night. And hindi na namin na-resurrect that night. We just stopped talking after that fight. And then it has been seven years,” she said.
Fortunately, they were able to settle their rift.
“I spoke to him last year. I called him. A lot of things and parang also because I had a baby,” she said.
