Chad Kinis: “Maraming nakakapansin… about sa bukol sa dila ko.”
Comedian and vlogger Chad Kinis shared what he is going through in his latest vlog.
“Gagawin ko po ‘tong video na ‘to kasi marami na rin po ang concerned, marami na pong nagtatanong, maraming nakakapansin… about sa bukol sa dila ko,” he said.
He continued: “Actually matagal na po s’yang nasa ‘kin, years na rin po. Nagsimula po s’yang tumubo parang 5 years ago.”
“At ngayon po napapansin ko, medyo palaki nga po nang palaki. Kasi madalas kong nakakagat ‘yung dila ko dati,” he added.
He once talked to one of his friends Ogie Diaz and the latter encouraged him to check up.
Despite his fears, Chad Kinis still chose to find out whatever grew on his tongue.
According to Chad’s doctor Dra. Tina Viceral, sister of Vice Ganda, the lump on his tongue looks benign as per her analysis on the photo he sent.
But to be sure, Chad Kinis still underwent a simple incisional biopsy. In this operation, the lump on his tongue was removed to determine if it was cancerous or benign.
After 14 days, the comedian confirmed that it was benign. It is a “fibroma” that was due to the constant biting off his tongue as a child.
