Xiaomi executive recently hinted at August launch for MIUI 13 mobile operating system and Mi MIX 4 could be the first Xiaomi device running it.
Xiaomi had been working on its new Mi MIX series flagship smartphone — the Mi MIX 4 which was expected to go official in the coming months. It was being speculated that the said phone will come running the new MIUI 13 custom user interface based on Android.
The MIUI 13 mobile operating system was currently under testing and smartphones launched by Xiaomi in the past two years could be compatible with the new update.
Recently, Xiaomi’s executive Li Ming confirmed the internal testing of the upcoming user interface (UI) and also hinted that MIUI 13 could be officially launched in August this year.

Gizmochina reported that Xiaomi was expected to adopt a new internal testing mechanism in the new version of the Xiaomi Community application and the platform could also have a new name as well.
The current version of the MIUI Internal Testing Center included internal testing, public testing, development builds, and other versions that were not suitable for usage among the masses.
It wasn’t recommended for regular users to use the internal testing version of MIUI 13.
Based on a report, MIUI 13 was first rumored to make its debut by the end of June 2021 but it looked like it won’t be the case. While its announcement in July also seemed like a possibility, a new post from Xiaomi executive hinted at the August launch.
