Did Emmanuelle Vera undergo retoke?
Miss World Philippines 2021 Emmanuelle Vera reacted to the allegation thrown against her that she has undergone cosmetic surgery.
Emmanuelle, a singer, actress, and TV personality, is one of the 45 candidates in the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2021 pageant.
She has starred in some of the popular shows such as Wildflower and 100 Days to Heaven on ABS-CBN and The Stepdaughters and Magpakailanman on GMA-7.
In an interview, she addressed rumors that she had a “retoke.”
“I’ve been getting this question a lot. My team and my goal with the looks naman, entering this [pageant] was transformation,” she said.
According to Emmanuelle Vera, the word “transformation” refers to the new career path she needs to be taken.
“When we’re looking for a makeup artist, when my mentor was instructing me to lose weight and to diet, our goal was transformation,” she noted.
That is why many were surprised by the “transformation” of her appearance.
But Emmanuelle Vera insisted that she did not undergo any surgery.
However, she admitted that she undergoes non-surgical enhancements which are done in beauty clinics.
