Last Thursday, the singer and actress shared in her Instagram account a video of herself getting vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine. Geneva was visibly anxious about the vaccine, taking a deep breath and blinking rapidly as she steeled herself at the vaccination site.

“Oh my God,” Geneva was heard saying, closing her eyes tightly when the nurse injected her arm. After over a few seconds, she pressed a piece of cotton on the injected area.

According to her, she received her first dose of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine.

I encourage all of you to get vaccinated despite of [sic] being afraid of being jabbed in the arm by a tiny needle. According to my doctor friend, based on local studies, 3-4 weeks after the second dose pa ng Sinovac bago pumantay sa immune response ng Astra, so I have to exercise proper precautions pa din,” she wrote on Instagram.

Geneva also thanked the nurse for being patient with her.
