The first batch of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine doses will arrive in the Philippines on June 27, according to Dizon.
On Friday, testing czar Secretary Vince Dizon said that the first batch of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine doses will arrive in the Philippines on June 27, 2021.
Dizon, who was also the deputy chief implementer of the National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF), said that the first batch of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine doses will be shipped from the United States to the Philippines on June 27.
Earlier, NTF Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr said that some 250,000 Moderna COVID-19 vaccine doses, including those procured by the private sector, were expected to arrive in the Philippines on June 27.
According to Dizon, the supplies of COVID-19 vaccine doses were increasing due to the efforts of the private sector and the national government.
