DARRYL YAP – The young director admitted that he also receive bashing from his colleagues in the film industry.
According to him, he’s not affected whenever he’s being bashed by netizens.
“Bash is cash. When you get bashed, you get tons of engagement,” he said. “Because when they bash you lalo na sa page mo, kaya nga ganito, eh, medyo nanghihina ako pag binabash nila ako sa page nila.”
“Kasi sa kanila napupunta yung engagements. Pero pag sa page ko, nagpapatreat pa ako sa team,” he added.
But Darryl Yap stressed that bashers should have a limitation.
“Bash is cash as long as my family is not being hurt. My family is not dragged into some issues. Okay lang ako kahit anong imbentuhin. Pero sometimes you have limitations,” he said.
He admitted that he’s hurt if the bashers also came from the film industry.
“Sa totoo lang what pains me, what burdens me, is that a huge amount of bashing papunta sa akin, comes from the people in the industry. I understand kasi I’m not like them,” he said.
Darryl Yap’s last stint was Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam starring Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles.
