RABIYA MATEO – Miss Universe Philippines 2020 revealed in an interview her celebrity crush.
It was just recently when the Ilongga beauty queen represented the country in the 69th edition of Miss Universe.
Unfortunately, she only clinched the Top 21 of the finalists.
Meanwhile, during an interview with pageant’s skincare sponsor and fellow Filipina Olivia Quido-Co, Rabiya revealed her celebrity crush.
“Ito nakakatawa talaga ‘to. I know nothing about basketball, pero nanood talaga ako ng UAAP para lang makita siya,” she said.
She then revealed that her showbiz crush is no other than, Kobe Paras- the son of basketball living legend Benjie Paras.
Rabiya Mateo recalled that moment she made effort just to look for Kobe through his jersey.
“Kahit ‘di ko maintindihan ‘yung nangyayari, hinanap ko si number 6,” she said.
In the said interview, Rabiya Mateo reiterated her plans to enter the entertainment industry.
She also shared the actors she wishes to work with.
“Marami… Maricel Soriano, ‘yung mga nasa haligi na talaga ng pelikulang Pilipino. Sino pa ba? Dingdong Dantes, Ate Vi (Vilma Santos). Mangangarap na rin lang ako tinaasan ko na,” she said.
