Happy birthday Sara Duterte!
Speaker Lord Allan Jay Velasco and House Majority Leader Ferdinand Martin Romualdez greeted presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on her 43rd birthday.
On Monday, Velasco posted on Facebook his greeting to the daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Ngayon ay kaarawan ng isang kahanga-hangang Pilipino, na kumakatawan ng mga katangian ng Agila. Hatid ko sa kanya ang video na ito, na isang pagsisikap na nagmula sa puso ng kanyang mga tagahanga at taga-suporta. Sila ay nagkaisa at nagsama dahil sa inspirasyon at paniniwala,” he said.
Romualdez, on the other hand, went to Davao City to personally greet Sara and gave her flowers.
“I join the Filipino nation in praying that our Lord God will continue to bless you Mayor Inday Sara with long life and excellent health,” said Romualdez. “I have been immensely gratified and inspired by your unwavering pursuit of goodness in the entire country. Your very determined leadership to serve the people has profoundly influenced us to further extend malasakit to our constituents.”
Romualdez said he wished and prayed for Sara Duterte’s continued success and that her service would be an inspiration.
Tingog party-list Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez, the chairperson of House Committee on Welfare of Children and wife of Romualdez, also greeted Sara Duterte on her birthday.
“May you be blessed more as you have blessed others! Happy birthday to a remarkable public official!” said Mrs. Romualdez.
